Ingredients for Green Lentil Soup with Tomatoes
2 finely chopped celery stalks
3 cloves of finely chopped garlic
250 gr. canned roasted red pepper
1 small can of tomato paste
250 gr. green lentils
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablets of vegetable bouillon
1 liter of water
250 gr. washed and chopped chard leaves
Ground black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme
1 cup of noodles
How to Make Green Lentil Soup with Tomatoes?
While sautéing the chopped onions and celery stalks in olive oil in a saucepan, add the garlic.
Take the tomato paste and roasted red peppers with a blender and add them to the pot. Boil the lentils after cleaning and washing them.
After transferring the lentils and vegetable bouillons that you have dissolved in warm water to the pot, mix the soup lightly and add 1 liter of water, noodles, a pinch of salt and ground black pepper.
Cook the soup on low heat for 40 minutes.
Add thyme and chard leaves. Enjoy your meal!
