Ingredients for Şile Paprika (Heating Peppers with Cheese) Recipe
1 cup of semi-skimmed cheese
1 kg of sweet village pepper or charliston pepper
1 coffee cup of olive oil
How is Şile Paprika (Heating Pepper with Cheese) Made?
Roast the village peppers on the grill or in the embers.
If you can’t grill, you can also roast it in the oven or stove.
Wait 2-3 minutes for the roasted peppers at room temperature and peel off their skins when they are warm.
Arrange the peppers side by side in a medium sized frying pan with the ends in the middle of the pan.
Add the cracked and fatty cheeses on the peppers.
Then drizzle olive oil over the peppers and leave to cook by closing the lid.
Cook over low heat until the cheeses begin to melt. Turn off the stove when the cheese starts to melt.
Open the lid and rest for 2 minutes. You can then serve it alongside the main course. Bon Appetit.
